Grid Connection Compliance

We can manage the whole grid connection compliance process, whether for G99 or for Grid Code compliance, from initial compliance kick-off meeting with NESO or the DNO to the issue of FON.

  • Compliance documents

    Gather the documents provided by or required by NESO and/or the DNO, including the Operational Notification and Compliance Checklist (ONCC), the Compliance Statement and the User Data File Structure (UDFS), or the Power Generating Module Document (PGMD) for the DNO.

  • Milestones management

    Assess and manage the required timescales for each compliance type, and initiate the appropriate process at each stage, triggering registration actions, chasing up manufacturers, contractors and consultants for the required data, studies and evidence, coordinate with DNO and/or NESO.

  • Evidence gathering

    Ensure appropriate and relevant data is provided, assess evidence of compliance demonstration, file into appropriate UDFS structure, suggest mitigation measures in case of non-compliance. Provide regular data updates to NESO and/or DNO.

  • Initiate EON, ION, FON

    Manage the final energisation process, from triggering the first EON energisation, initiation of ION and managing the required compliance tests process until a final FON can be requested.
